I bought this swing for my son who is now 5 months old. A friend recommended that I buy this swing because you can choose to swing your child, front to back, or side to side. We received it in the mail and set it up very quickly. It is very sturdy and the seat is very soft (we got the little lamb model). As soon as we brought home our son, we put him in the swing and it put him right to sleep. The swing is quiet and has a lot of nice features. I know some people said that it made a loud clicking noise, but our does not. There is going to be some noise, as there is a small motor in the swing, so no swing will be silent. We keep ours in the living room and it never bothers us in terms of size or noise. At times, this is the only place my son will sleep.
