Double Carseat Clip - Graco

This car seat clip came with no instructions to install. After spending an hour unbuttoning and taking off the mountain buggy fabic seat to put in the car seat holder, I found that once I attached it and put the graco seat in, there was no way to make the carseat stay put. The carseat wouldn't clip properly and it's so unsafe, there is NO WAY I would use it and put my baby in it. The carseat can just fall out. I was extremely disappointed and frustruated with this product. Unsafe and not worth the money. We bought this swing when our daughter was 6 weeks old. A vigorous kid already, she likes to be bounced and jostled around quite a bit, and we ordered the thing to help our aching arms and thighs. When we received the swing in the mail, we were so excited to set it up and see what her reaction would be.

Well, construction went just fine- the directions are clear and the whole thing comes together in about a half hour. However, when we put her in, it was pretty lame. The swing didn't go very high at all, and you'd think with six different speeds that it would fairly well satisfy the full range of need in babies. I decided to call Graco to see if anyone else had had this issue and if possibly our motor was defective. They were very polite and immediately sent us a new motor piece. Unfortunately, even with the new piece the swinging was about the same and our girl quickly grew bored with the low momentum.

So, back to the title, if you have a baby who is more 'easy listening' than '80's pop', this is the swing for you! If not, check out the side-to-side swings, as they seem to be a bit more vigorous in their motions. Graco Grove Park Lovin' Hug Infant Swing

This item is poorly designed, and the assembly instructions are the worst I have ever seen.

The drawings are extremely small, completely lacking in clarity, and appear to have been drafted by someone who never studied mechanical drawing. (I could do better having studied mechanical drawing in high school for one semester over 50 years ago.)

The parts are not identified, and drawings cannot be deciphered. After 40 minutes of trying to figure out the instructions, I gave up and threw the numerous parts back into the box. It is going back!

There is absolutely no reason for consumers to tolerate such a shoddy business practice! Our time is way too valuable.

I would rate this product as a minus 5 stars, if I could.

Graco Lovin' Hug Open Top Swing in Bancroft

We just got this swing a couple of days ago. It looks like it would be really great if it worked properly. The motor just makes grinding noises for awhile and then stops even that after a couple of minutes. (yes, I have pushed the swing to help the motor get started, didn't work). I've been desperate enough for a swing that I have been just swinging it by hand and coming back to swing it again every-once-in-while. At least the swinging bars are balanced so that it will continue to swing for a little while. I think it might just be a bad motor so I'm going to contact Graco to see if they will replace it.
